Smiley's started with a simple idea: cook the food we love, the slow way, and pour drinks that match. No pretension, no shortcuts — just a pit, a kitchen, and a team that genuinely likes feeding people.

Today, it's a neighbourhood institution. Backpackers find it on their first night in Arusha. Regulars come for happy hour and stay through dinner. Birthdays happen on the patio. The fire keeps going.
